    Ministry of Labour & Employment has been finally announced the Ministry of Labour Scholarship 2016 for Beedi/Cine/IOMC/LSDM Workers Children for Education. The main purpose of this opportunity is to provide the financial assistant to the poor to continue their study. So, interested applicants must fill online Application Form 2016-17 before the last date through the departmental site.

    This is a chance for all the candidates who want to complete their education without facing any type of money problem.  Applicants must read the full notification and eligibility criteria before applying for this studentship scheme.     Eligibility Criteria for Ministry of Labour Scholarship

    Either of the parents of the students should be Beedi, Iron Ore Manganese & Chrome Ore Mines, Limestone & Dolomite Mines, Cine worker with at least six months service. This also includes Contract/Gharkhataworkers also.
    2. Total monthly Income of the Worker’s family from all sources should not exceed as under:-
    a) BeediWorkers – Rs.10,000/-
    b) Mine Workers:
    i) The Mineworkers doing manual, unskilled, highly skilled and clerical work are eligible for availing all facilities under different welfare schemes of Labour Welfare Organization irrespective of the wages paid to them.
    ii) The persons employed in supervisory and managerial capacity are eligible for availing the facilities under different welfare schemes subject to the wage limit of Rs.10,000/- per month.

    c) Cine workers:
    “An amount not exceeding Rs.8,000/- per month where such amount is paid monthly or an amount not exceeding Rs.1,00,000/- where it is paid by way of lump sum or installments; as the remuneration of a fine worker for the purpose of this Act.”
    3. The Candidate must have passed the last qualifying examination in the first attempt.
    4. The Scholars pursuing studies through Correspondence are not suitable.
    5. Contenders for the award of scholarships should have taken regular admission for studies at recognized institutions in India in any course of general or technical education, including medical, engineering and agricultural studies.

    Go to the official web link “scholarships.gov.in”. Read all the detail about the scholarship. Choose the proper link. Then click on Apply Online. Fill up all needed information. Upload the all required documents. The students need to click on Submit box. Save your registration number for further use. Take the print out a hard copy.
