    The University of the Sunshine Coast offers IPR scholarships to international candidates to chase a study in Australia. International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (IPRS) enables international scholars to undertake a postgraduate research qualification in Australia and gain experience with leading Australian researchers at USC.

    The purpose of the IPRS scheme is to attract top quality international postgraduate students to areas in which the University has specialized research strengths and to support Australia's research effort. Successful applicants can expect to become members of a research team working under the direction of senior researchers and in an area which has attracted external resources.

    The Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney awards a limited number of Dean’s International postgraduate research scholarships for international students. Scholarships are available to undertake a research doctorate degree (Ph.D.) program. University offers a number of general and subject-specific funding schemes. The aim of the scholarships is to attract the best and most motivated people to Sydney.

    Scholarship Award 
    The annual tuition fee for the successful applicant’s program and a standard Overseas Student Health Cover policy. The successful applicant will also be considered for an Australian Postgraduate Award. The scholarship covers tuition fees and health cover costs for scholarship holders. USC funded IPRS equivalent scholarships may also be awarded to meritorious candidates during the annual scholarship round at the discretion of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research).

    Eligibility Criteria for IPR scholarships

    • Be an international scholar 
    • Hold a Bachelor degree with First Class honors, or have an equivalent level of attainment via the previous study, work experience, research publications, referee’s reports and other research experience; and Not hold an equivalent HDR qualification to that being applied for; 
    • Be undertaking study in a subject area identified by USC as one of its areas of research concentration 
    • Not have previously held an Australian Government-funded research scholarship 
    • Not have held an Aus AID scholarship within the two years prior to commencing the IPRS; and 
    • Not be receiving a scholarship for which course tuition is a component under any other scholarship scheme to which the Australian Government makes a substantial contribution 
    • Recipients must maintain satisfactory progress as a full-time higher degree by research candidate at the University of the Sunshine Coast

    Go to the official website “www.usc.edu.au”. Check the latest notification option on the homepage. Select the proper link and then click this. Go to the online registration link and then hit it. Read the instructions on the web page carefully. Enter all required field carefully. Then upload all the needed documents. After finishing the process press the submit button carefully. The fully filled application form will be showed on your computer screen. Check the print preview and then take the hard copy for future us.
